CHASE BANK ROBBERY
ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating the person responsible for a bank robbery that took place at the Chase Bank located at 8725 Elk Grove Boulevard.
Earlier this afternoon at approximately 1:59 p.m., the suspect pictured below entered the Chase Bank and approached a teller. The suspect gave the teller a note demanding money. The employee feared for her safety and complied with the demands. After being given an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, the suspect exited the bank and was last seen walking westbound from the location.
The suspect was described as a Caucasian male, approximately fifty (50) years of age, five feet eight inches tall (5’8”), weighing approximately two hundred and ten pounds (210 lbs). The suspect was wearing a dark colored baseball cap with a camouflage brim, sunglasses and had a short gray beard. He was last seen wearing a blue puffy jacket with a multi-colored checkered shirt underneath.

Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent to EGPD via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
