Well Elk Grove, we will have to wait until October to gather together. Due to the current pandemic, we are postponing our plans for this year's National Night Out. Thank you for your understanding and please take care.
National Night Out, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, is a neighborhood crime and drug prevention event that occurs annually and is celebrated in every city, town and village in the US.
In addition to increasing awareness of crime and drug prevention programs, NNO also strengthens neighborhood spirit and community-police partnerships, while sending a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back against crime!
If you and your neighbors would like the Elk Grove Police Department and the Cosumnes Fire Department to visit your neighborhood block party, please complete the on-line request form below and submit it.
Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee that an officer, or fire department representative, will be in attendance. Since these first responders are on-duty, calls for service might prevent their participation. If you have any questions, please contact the Crime Prevention unit at (916) 478-8122 or crimeprevention@elkgrovepd.org.
