EGPD - Bank Robbery Suspect Sought

BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT SOUGHT

 

ELK GROVE, CA -The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community's help in locating the person responsible for a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo (5120 Laguna Boulevard) earlier this afternoon.

 

At approximately 1:16 p.m.,the suspect (pictured below) enteredthe Wells Fargo andapproached a teller.The suspect produced a note demanding money. The employee feared for their safety and complied with the demands.After being given an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, the suspect exited the bank and was last seen walking away from the location through the parking lot.

 

The suspect was describedas a Hispanic male, approximately late twenties to early thirties with a heavy build. The suspect had short black hair and was wearing blue facemask, a black hooded sweater (pictured), and gray sweatpants.
