The Elk Grove Police Department and Cosumnes Fire collect and distribute toys to predetermined families in need for the holiday season. The toys are delivered by volunteers of the police and fire departments.

Holiday Gift Assistance
The Elk Grove Police Department and Cosumnes Fire are accepting applications starting Monday, November 4th for holiday gift assistance.
Qualifications
Qualified families must reside within the City of Elk Grove, Cosumnes CSD, or Wilton Fire Protection District. Toys will be delivered for resident children aged 1-11 only. Qualified families are determined based on household income and the number of people living within the household. The qualifications are:

When to Apply
Applications will be accepted in person starting Monday, November 4, 2024. Applications can be submitted from Monday - Friday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Elk Grove Police Department Service Center (8400 Laguna Palms Way).
What You Need to Apply
You must bring with at least one of each of the following with you when you apply.
Proof of Identification
- Driver’s License / ID Card Passport
- Green Card
- Picture ID
Proof of Residence
- Current utility bill
- Current rent receipt
Proof of income
- Paycheck stub
- SSI verification
- Cal Works summary Student Aid verification
Proof of Each Child
- Birth Certificate Passport
- State ID / Green Card School ID

Toy Delivery
Elk Grove Police Department and Cosumnes Fire will be delivering toys for children ages 1 to 11 on:
Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Please plan to be home at this time. Items will not be left if no one is home. If you are not there to accept the toys, you will need to schedule an appointment to pick up.
